Dental Hygienist

Linda

I have been working in dentistry for more than 35 years and have been a proud member of the Milcovich Dental Arts team since 2022.

I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Diablo Valley College in 1989 and have remained committed to ongoing education and professional growth throughout my career.

I am certified in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide, Diode Laser Therapy, and Regulatory Compliance, Infection Control, OSHA, and HIPAA, and I hold current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.

Over the course of my career, I have witnessed tremendous advances in dental equipment and materials, but I believe one thing has never changed: the importance of patient care.

To me, being a dental hygienist is about far more than “cleaning teeth” and patient education. It’s about building trust, showing compassion, and truly getting to know each patient and their family. By understanding their individual needs, I work to help every person feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

I genuinely love being part of the Milcovich Dental Arts team. I feel confident and supported working alongside a caring, trusted doctor and staff who share my dedication to exceptional care.
I grew up in Berkeley and have called Clayton home since 1989, where my husband and I raised three wonderful children, all of whom still live within an hour’s drive. I now cherish two days a week with my first grandchild, who has brought an incredible new joy to my life. At home, I am kept company by Beau, my 8-year-old shepherd mix, and Marley, my 9-year-old cat.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking Mount Diablo, practicing yoga, gardening, and spending time with my family. I also have an admitted addiction for collecting houseplants – my one guilty pleasure!

My advice to patients is simple but important: Visit the Dental office regularly, use an electric toothbrush, a water flosser, and floss every day and don’t rush through it!

Your mouth is the gateway to your body, so it’s worth protecting.

I love that we use the state of the art updated technologies and to educate patients about oral diseases, and invisalign not only for cosmetic reasons, but for better functions of the teeth.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, yoga, listening to music, and meditation. I also help our community by helping refugees connect with outsource programs.
